  Utility to batch convert from WAV to MXF?

  Sounds weird I know… but if I have a client that wants a large library of files delivered to them as MXF, complete with the metadata from the WAV version… Is there a way to make this happen without just importing into Avid? Has anyone ever delivered like this?

  Well, i have made a converter / transcoder for EVS MXF to AVID MXF sound, and could do it for BWF as well.

  But i really don’t get the point. It probably won’t be faster as importing in Avid, and an overnight import should give you enough sound to listen to for the rest of your career.

  I don’t work for free, but the Avid trial version is free, and you are free to abuse that for the trial period.

  Now if Avid misses some metadata from the BWF / Wave that needs to be retained, probably i can help.
