I am just using some simple text and the rectangle tool to create a long line. These are in a pre-comp that is a small part of my video. The text and line are small and I want the camera to zoom in really close on them. When I do, they look incredibly blurry on the screen.

I thought that these would be vector based images and therefore wouldn’t blur if you zoom in, however I’m still fairly new to After Effects so I’m not sure. How do I zoom in on small text and make it so it stays crisp and clear?

Turn on the continuous rasterization switch on the layers and also on the nested pre-comp.

    Thanks. That works.
