  applying avid colour effect to part of a shot

  Hi there, I’m editing on Avid Media composer and want to make part of a shot black and white, whilst the rest stays in colour, whats the best way of applying a colour effect to just one area, which isn’t a neat rectangle? Thanks for any advice, Guy

  I tend to stack a layer and use animatte much more than the selective color effect. Just correct as needed, make your mask and animate it as ya like.
