    Hello,

First of all i’m loving the RED ONE … We make adds for film output … The recent one we did contains a lot of chroma work … We finished the edit in Media Composer 3 after transcoding RED footage into DNxHD 36 … We planning to do all the compositing work in after effects … Need help (Step by Step procedure) on how to conform our AVID timeline in Premiere/After Effects as there we can work on Native R3Ds … Not many effects (except for dissolves) are added while cutting in AVID MC 3 …. EDL doesn’t seem to work … Please help me on how to get the avid sequence into premire/AE CS4 and relink to native RED media …

    Thanks in advance ….

The simplest thing to try is to export your AAF from MC3 and import into Premiere Pro CS5. Offline the DNX clips and re-associate with the original r3d media.

What kind of error message? What version of CS4? Did you try Legacy mode? would you try a trial of CS5 to see if that works?

    Hope this helps,
    Dennis
