Looking for a 5-minute Avid favor
Hello Avid Forum,
I’m usually a full-time Final Cut editor and part-time software programmer, so I’m new on this corner of the Cow, and I admit my Avid skills are a bit rusty. I’m looking for someone who can hopefully help me out in testing a new program I’m writing. It will only take 5 minutes. I have a few clips (Quicktime files, Animation codec), a few seconds each. I’m hoping I can e-mail them to someone and if you have a few free minutes, you can import them into Avid and tell me what it says the timecode of the first frames are. I’d be interested in hearing the results on both Mac and PC.
Unfortunately, I can’t pay you, but by way of saying thanks, I can certainly give you a free copy of the program when it’s finished (it’s an After Effects-related program, if that makes a difference, although this test doesn’t require After Effects). Also, if you’re in New York, I can buy you a beer.
If you’re interested, please e-mail me: da****************@***il.com.
Thanks in advance.
