    Hey everyone,
    I have a project on my old avid media composer that i need to move to my new Xpress pro. What are the step to do so? Does it matter that I am going from a IBM computer to Mac?

    If the project on your old Media Composer is called Project01, start a new project of the same type on your Xpress system called Project01.

    Shut down Avid.

    At the finder/desktop level, copy the bins from the Media Composer Project01 folder to the newly created Xpress Project01 folder.

    Open Avid. Select Project01, edit.

    Now if you need to move media too, there’s more steps involved. I’ll find a link that details that.

    yeah i need the media too. its a sequence with a lot of keyfames that I am not trying to have to redo.
