  Digi 002 rack help needed, is this the new spot for help?

  Hi there, now that Avid has glommed Digidesign/protools, can I get help for a Digi 002 rack here? We have a rev G, MX002RK that no longer connects to our macs. The rear firewire light is on, but the front IEEE light never comes on. Box clicks 3 times on powerup as it should.

  There is so much (mis)information on this problem it’s impossible to sort out in google. I guess it could be the power harness problem, but dunno. I need some concrete troubleshooting steps if possible, to include instructions/photos on opening up the rack and checking the harness connection if that’s an issue with this box.

  So far tried cables, other machines, etc. Well, desperate for help!

  Uhm, Avid has owned Digidesign since 1994.
  Pretty sure that your best answer will come from the Digidesign community.
