i recently purchased a sony hdr fx1000 camcorder and also avid media composer 3.5. Im more experienced with smaller camcorder and less complex editing software. But i want to cross over into the professional field. So i invested in some videography equipment, so i can take it to the next level. So if anyone respond to this forum with some acknowledgment of my troubled issue. There are going to be a line of other questions that i will ask. Now when i open the capture tool to record, the video doesnt show in the source or record monitior.Im still able to control the camcorder threw the capture, but there is still no video being displayed in the record monitor. Now i checked the settings in my camcorder and made sure the settings are compatible to my avid editing software.well atleast i think i did….there is something that in still not doing right….Im recording in hdv 24progressive,my avid settings are hdv 24p.but im not sure if it suppose to be 23.97. There are so many different technical issues that im not sure of, and have questions on. But if anyone can shed any light on my troubled issue, i would really appreciate it….This is a S.O.S, im drowning and i really need a life preserve….
