  • Strange error message during longform DX output

Posted by Rob Ray on November 5, 2009 at 12:27 pm

WE recently installed Nitris DXes in all our rooms. Along with Interplay and a newer version of Isis. Running WinXp on HP8600s.

Recently,we’ve been receiving this error message when longform outputting 1080i sequences (to either HDCAM or HDSR stock):

    Exception:” HagridBase:err:0I-99148Ik_interrupt object.ccp1187 error code KLPeer_CodecFatal DecodeError Msg Card 2 Decode.Pip2CRC Error”

There is no rhyme or reason. Removing color liimiter on top track doesnt help. Neither does piece-by-piece editing. During an output, the recording ceases and the message pops up. Sometimes the otuput ceases with NO message appearing.Sometimes, rebooting helps. Or going back a few seconds and reoutputting from that point. Sometimes we can’t continue at all.
This has occured with several different user settings,in several different rooms, whether using older media (that was moved over during our reinstall), or newly digitized media.

It’s a work stopper, among ther dozens of other workstop issues we’ve experienced with DX lately. Any clues with this?
    Thanks
