    Like Marquee, I’ve never found a use for it. AE is quicker and offers far more capabilities.

    To me, it’s obvious Avid is not gonna step up their DVE or effects game. This makes it all the more obvious that they should make a deal with Adobe to incorporate AE nto the app itself… making AE Avid’d DVE. I could see that being the best solution. This would be a time saver for all editors and a way they could actually celebrate and promote a new release.

    Like After Effects, Boris…er I mean Avid FX has a learning curve. The biggest advantage to Avid FX is that it is in the timeline making for easier changes with no roundtripping to AE.

    I’ve done all of those things in your demo clip with Red. Except that last one with the guy moving around. That was pretty trick!
