• Avid Media Composer

  All Media is OFFLINE but MXF Files are all there.

  I have a 1.5 TB drive that has only two projects on there. Both project files are in there separate folders along with the designated bin files. All MXF files are in the right place: Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1/MEDIA and so are the OMFIs: OMFI MediaFiles/MEDIA. I have deleted the database files and restarted MC and I have attempted mount all, I have tried relinking but still nothing. I don’t understand what’s going on because all media files are there but Avid is no seeing them. HELP PLEASE!!!

  Brent,

  Go to Windows Explorer and select the Avid MediaFiles folder. Right click on the folder and make sure “Read Only” is not selected. Relaunch Avid. Do the clips show up now?
