  digitze workflow for JVC HDV SD60P

  I have been sent several tapes of interviews and broll that was shoot on the JVC 110 in HDV SD 60P. The camera op was trying to shoot in HDV 60i but never shoot with the camera before so he choose that setting. I’m trying to get the footage into MC 3.0 PC HPxw8200 with Adrenaline HD. I have tried with the camera via firewire and also have borrowed a JVC BR-HD50 deck but have had no luck digitizing the video and audio is all screwed up no mater what project type or raster I choice. I have tried component out of the deck and firewire also with no luck. The video and audio plays fine out of the deck via HDMI into a plasma and the frame rate looks fine. The footage will be used with other HDV footage for the web, DVD and possible broadcast SD. Any help would be great.

  Did you set up a 720P 60 project?

  MC 3.0 only has project settings for 30i, 720p 29.97and 1080i 59.97 but no of them worked. Maybe a newer version has other project settings?

  We got it into FCP but once it was converted and imported into avid hdnx 145 1080i it looked like crap plus took forever on our 1 minute test. We may look at digitizing all the interviews then rendering the sequence in FCP and dump to tape at 720p 29.97 but who knows if that will work. No time to test but need to get it figured out.
