  AVID & New Laptop

  Good day all,

  I am trying to help a friend out with a problem, he just got a new laptop, Sony Viso, with Vista OS and he is trying to install AVID express 3.5 from 2001. What does he need to do to install on this laptop.

  Either upgrade his Xpress Pro to Media Composer for $500, or roll back his OS to whatever was supported with Xpress 3.5. XP Pro maybe? Or Windows 2000?

  3.5 was XP w/ SP1.
