  Avid 3D in MC3.1.1

  Howdy all.
  Has anyone re-installed Avid 3D in a MC3.1.1?
  I’m trying to open Avid 3D in MC3.1.1 BUT I get the error message:
  “There is no interactive license available to run Avid 3D”
  Avid says this (and I installed 3D OK):

  “Avid 3D file interoperability via MXF/AAF can continue to be used with the Avid Media Composer v3.0 family of
  products. However, video I/O through the hardware is no longer supported. Avid 3D must be installed directly from the
  Avid 3D folder on the install disk rather than the master installer to avoid installing the Avid v5.7 DIO which is not
  compatible with the latest software.”

  An Avid tech said update requires a MC re-install and no guarantee of results.
  I don’t like it when Avid stops supporting a product they give you.
