    Hello…

I have just upgraded from Xpress pro to Media Composer on one of our machines.

I have audio on all the files that was already in the projects, but when I import new files, there is no audio on the Audio tool or in the speakers, although the bin says I have V1 A1-2. I can also see that it imports audio before it imports the video. I am quite shure I don’t have wrong sample rate.

Are there any new things that I need to check on import i Media Composer..? Any of the projects settings that can sause trouble..?

    Thanks for any help,

    -Kenneth =)

This is a very complicated issue. I would try to uninstall MC, then re-install. Audio compatibility with MC is problemmatic. Do you have ProTools installed on the same OS?

I have not had ProTools earlier, at least, I don’t know if it’s a part of the Media Composer-package now..?

Otherwise uninstall/install would be the best suggestion..?

    hmpf…

are you clips 48k? make sure your clip and project sample rates match. MC defaults to 48k.
