Colour Correcting help (Avid Xpress Pro)

I need to make the footage on the left look like that on the right. I’m new to using Avid Xpress Pro and have had a fairly easy task with colour correcting the rest of my film using Magic Bullet, Sapphire 3.0 and also the built in colour correcting facility in Avid. But I have no idea how to go about making the image on the left look like (or near enough) the image on the right.
I’ve tried everything I can think of and I’m getting a bit desperate now any help would be greatly appreicated.

First off, the image on the right looks like hell. That aside, it is bluer, and the gamut is raised and blown out a bit.
The easiest way for you to handle it is to use the color corrector. Go into the curves tab. You will see on the right two eyedropper sample boxes. Park on the shot you like and sample the the book cover of the psychology book behind the guy on the left.
Then park on the shot you want to have match and sample the same part of the book cover that is still behind him.
Now hit the match button below the sample panes. This should get you fairly close to where you want to be. You can then fine tune in the curves to get an exact match.

Thanks! The problem we used used two cameras and they both had different white balance settings meaning the images came out completely different. I’ve put the other image back to stock now and I’m trying to get them to match using the eyedropper now. I’ve got this far now (see image) could you help me to get them to match?

I’d start by slighlty bringing down the top of the blue curve, for the right hand shot.
