  23.976 NTSC to 720p/23.976 Online

  Hey guys,
  I’m working with DVC PRO HD footage shot natively at 720p / 23.976. I’m trying to test the offline online situation for this media, but I keep running into issues. I’m digitizing and editing offline at 23.976, but I am not able to batch digitize this media at 720p afterwards. I have tried two methods.

  I switched the format tab into 720p mode and tried to recapture the clip with no luck.

  I set up a new 720p / 23.976 project. I then copied my 23.976 sequence into the project. Selecting it, I went clip-Modify and changed the format to 720p / 23.976. When I tried to batch capture, I got the following message:

  Error
  This clip cannot be batch digitized because you are in a 720p / 23.976 project and this is not a 720p / 23.976 clip.

  Can anyone help me….please???

  I’m on an AVID adrenaline using media composer 3.0 software.

  Once you modify the seauence from NTSC 23.976 to 720p/23.976, do a decompose ans make sure that source video format for those clips is really DVCPRO.
