  • anyone use MC 3.0 on a DELL XPS?

I had MC Express running on it just fine. But I upgraded to MC 3.0 and now nothing. Major problem is the video card.
Has anyone overcome this? I could replace the internal GPU or add a dock with a graphics card.
    any help out there?

We need some more info about your system. Namely, what OS (XP/Vista etc…), graphics card, driver number for your graphics card, and Quicktime version are you running?

All of these can/will determine if you can run Media Composer. Ideally you’ll have an nVidia Quadro card (at least the 570, I believe).

thanks for the reply. running XP, @ Gg RAM, QT version not sure (its down the hall or I would check) , video card is 256MB DDR3 nVidia® GeForce™ Go 7900 graphics card. I fear that may be the problem.
