Rotate Footage

September 3, 2008 at 11:10 amApply a 3D Warp from the Blend category, under rotate, choose the Z slider and adjust.

September 5, 2008 at 2:14 pmNot without massive quality loss. You are best off doing it in AE as Avid has not updated their DVE… well ever.

September 8, 2008 at 11:58 amthrow a simple PIP effect on in Avid and rotate it just a bit. screen grab that for us and upload it.
Then, throw a new layer in AE, scale it down to 50 percent and rotate it just a bit and render a frame for us. You will see aliasing from 1995 vs a a rotated sharp edged box one can use.
If Avid had an editor on staff, I dare say this would have been fixed in like ’96.
