Is there a shortcut to turn on all the speaker icons in a manner like Command+A turns on all the tracks?
Similar to the opposite of the Mute button.

In other words, say I’ve got only 1 speaker icon on and I have 16 tracks but I want monitor 14 of them, I want to enable them all, then turn off the two I don’t want. Currently, I have to click on each tracks monitor I want to enable – a lot of clicking …

    Thanks,
    Neil.

    (Mac-based system)

No shortcut that I’m aware of. I wish there was though.

I’m not aware of a shortcut for what you’re asking, but I’ve got in the habit of just soloing tracks if I need isolation. It works well if they are kept to a minimum.

    Your example above would be:

    16 tracks, all active
    2 tracks, solo’d
    then…
    un-solo those 2 tracks
VOILA! the other 14 are monitored

    Okay; thanks for that.

In the command palete there is a Mute button. Assign that to your keyboard and that will toggle audio channels on and off. For example if you have 1 & 2 on and 3 & 4 off , it will reverse that.
Unfortunately it does this to both the source and record sides. Can be very handy.
