dae error -43 on mc 10.5
Hi there Avid masters!!!
Can somebody help me with an audiosuite launching error on media composer 10.5 (mac os9)
when i’m trying to launch an audio suite i get the messege:
DAE not connected error -43Pls help me out!!!

Try trashing your MCState settings.
When was the last time you zapped your PRAM?

sorry, i’m a PC-man, OS9 is like a dark forest for me.
can u give me a little clue about what i have to do? -
It’s been a few years since I used OS9 myself. If I recall correctly, there is a folder called applications. Or maybe it was a Media Composer folder… Anyway, once you find the MC folder, find the settings folder and delete the MCState.
To zap the PRAM, hold down the command, option, p and r keys until your mac reboots 4 times:
