I had a corrupt project after moving my project from Symphony to Media Composer.

This is the advice I followed
Exit Media Composer, then open your OMFI MediaFiles folder and delete the two files called msmFMID and msmMMOB. When you restart Media Composer, they will be rebuilt.

Now my Avid wont even start up.

    Hi,

What happens when you try to open Avid? Do you get an error message, or does the system start to open and then stops? If it tries, what does it say at the bottom of the splash screen right before it stops?

    good luck,
    Carl

There are 2 Partitions it seeems to freeze on when it begins scanning for OMFI files.

I get different results each time.

Sometimes it says the database file may be corrupt. Other times it just freezes
