  avid on mac

  Hi there,
  question for all of you clever people,
  I have a MacBook Pro(intel) and I’m just wondering if I run windows would I be able to run Avid with that? I have a Adrenaline pkg doing nothing …so would that work?

  Depending on the version of Adrenaline you have, just run it on the Mac side. Version 2.5 was the release that runs native on Intel Macs. You can upgrade your Adrenaline to run on this, or try installing it on the Windows side. I’ve read of people having some luck with it–the main problem I can foresee is the graphics card. Macs typically come with ATI cards, right? The Windows version of Avid prefers nVidia.
