    Hi,
    Here’s a Bizarre one for ya’;
    When trying to import CD audio tracks (Any CD, Any Audio) by dragging them into a M.C.S 2.7.2 open bin window, it freezes!

    When I first extract to AIFF/WAV and then Import – all is Fine.

    Things I done already:
    1. Reinstall the whole thing (Win XP, M.C.S 2.7.2, etc..).
    2. Changed everything I could in Audio settings.
    3. replaced CD Drive, and RAM.
    4. Changed M.B (Asus P5B-E) drivers to the newest.
    5. Run 3 Different Antivirus apps..
    6 Praying.
    7 Pulling my hair.

    If You gays have another idea, I’ll be happy to know all about it.

    Thanks.

    Thanks,
    It happens even when Q.T is not installed (I run ver.7.13).

    Well,
    It seems that Avid MCs doesn’t like some features of that Asus M.B, so I disabled the JMicron EIDE controller at BIOS level, and tried again from a SATA CD player, and …Walla… it works like a charm !
