What is the best way to get an EDL from Final Cut pro to Avid?

I am trying but can’t get any audio to show up in the Sequence once I get it into Avid.
Also, some of the edits in my timeline are not in the sequence once I get it into Avid.

    ??????

Or,strip your sequence as far as you can, edls, whatever their type struggle with almost anything more complicated than a wipe, dissolves to and from material on the same spool may require you to specify a b reel etc when creating an edl.

You may need to build a simplified sequence prior to pulling an edl,and be very carefull that you’re edl export settings and import settings are as close as they can be considering the differant packages.

Edit B offer a few cool little free packages that might hel you.

You mmay find that a medialess omf might be of more use.
