  Tablets

  Hi

  I’m thinking of starting to edit using a pen + tablet and would like to know what to buy.
  Wacom seem to have the market cornered, but they’re pretty pricy so I want to know if there are any other decent tablets out there worth considering.
  I’m not doing any graphic design, so presume I don’t need something that has variable pressure sensitivity. Essentially I am just replacing the mouse with a pen.
  I will also be using it for sound apps like Logic Pro, and may want to take it to different facilities to edit on FCP as well, so it needs to be Mac compaktible.
  Also, I would probably consider one with a widescreen dimension.

  Any advice welcome

  Buy the Wacom. I have many and haven’t replaced one of them in over five years.
