is this a camera zoom or other trick?
I see on HGTV, Design Shows, Auto DIY Shows a tv this effect alot and want to know the proper way to achieve it.
A close up of an object is on screen and then a 10-20 frame fast zoom out that shows the rest of the scene.
Is this effect usually done by speeding up an existing camera zoom on the clip? Or are people using a resize effect to be zoomed in close and then zoom out with keyframes? If the latter, how do you not have pixelization on the zoomed in part? if it is the former, how do you get the sped up zoom to look smooth? i tried with our footage in house and it looks bad like a sped up clip.
thanks.
