  • keeping keyframe durations when changing the effect length

Does anyone know how to keep an effect’s original keyframe duration after you extend the effect to make it longer. For example if my inital effect is 2 sec’s long with keyframe durations of 10 frames. How can I keep my keyframes at 10 frames when I extend my effect to 4 seconds without going in to the effect and physically moving the keyframes. Thanks.

you can’t. You’ll have to drag your keyframes accordingly.
Just hold down alt and drag em where ya want em.
Alternativly, if it’ll work with the clip, you can hop back one fram on that clip, add an edit then trim that last fram out. This will hold all those keyframes in place before that new cut. You may wanna then hop into that new stretched out clip and remove the effect or delete the kayframes after the first one.
    that make any sense?
