Steps for Installing Avid EMP?
Hello,
I read a while back that there was a specific order in which the Avid EMP plugin has to be installed in order to preview After Effects through the MOjo. I couldn’t find the order in this forum. Could or does anyone know of the order in which I am talking about?
Is it After Effects first, then the Avid EMP, then Avid?

Last time i’ve installed i just followed whatever the installer told me to…
One thing that isn’t clearly stated, you have to have Avid running in the background in order to get output from AE…hth

I’d install After Effects first, Avid, then Avid EMP. It might not matter, but that’s what I’d done on our systems and it’s worked.
Bouke–there’s something wrong with your system if you have to have Avid running in the background for Avid EMP to work. It doesn’t have to be running–in fact, I’ve found that if Avid is running they fight over the Mojo sometimes. You should be able to activate EMP through your AE settings–it should be independent of Avid.

Thanks for the responses. I will try, but I could have sworn that it was AE, then the EMP, then Avid. oh well.
