  Update puzzle

  I have downloaded and extracted files to update Express Pro HD to version 5.6.4. I’m coming from version 5.2.

  The update comes to a halt shortly after I get a message about a missing file: C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\INSTALL SHIELD\PROFESSIONAL\RUNTIME\10\50\Intel32\Ctor.dll

  I have no such file. The path on my system drive includes a ….\RUNTIME\11 directory, but no \RUNTIME\10.

  Have I missed something in the set-up procedure? I’m sure I’ve done something wrong. That’s usually the case.

  What are you using to extract? Also try putting the extracted installer on a DVD then install from there. In the past that has worked.

  anything 24fps
