  • deinterlacing issue when scaling footage down???

When I scale footage down to say 50 or 25% I’m getting alot of pixelation and/or noise in the image. I figured this
may be a resolution image so I went back and digitized the shots at 1:1. The source footage is on Beta SP. Anyway,
the problem has continued. The shots are not slowed down, they are at normal speed. Can anybody help me with this.
I always thought if you scaled shots up you would get noise, never thought this would hapen when shrinking a shot down.
The system I’m working on is an Avid Adrenaline HD.

    Many thanks in advance,
    RS

Click the HQ button in the Effects Editor window.
