  Capture issue

  I’m having exactly the same issue as mdeville. However, everything was working dandy until after I hooked up my laptop to a projector for a Power Point presentation a couple of days ago. Today, when I went to edit, the desktop display was all awry…got that straightened out, but the composer monitor still freezes video even tho it is playing OK. I can even digital-cut OK…I can scrub OK…just can’t make the danged “play” work when I click the triangle. Could the problem be something other than the video card?

  Are you sure you don’t have ANY windows touching the monitor you are trying to play? Not even just a little bit?
