Hey guys i have 2 questions

1- i am editing a movie that was shot on DVCPRO50 and i am using a AJ-SD93 Panasonic deck to capture , the problem that i have that while digitizing i get drop frames, anly after few tries of stoping and playing and stoping and playing the deck i get the media in a good way. i changed the FW cable and turned on and off the deck but nothing changed. i’ve been having this problem for a ong time i actually thought tha the drops are on the tapes but after checking that, i noticed that they are not at the same point… any ideas whats wrong?
one more thing… i have to quite the Avid everytime i turn on the deck and want the Avid to see it… if i don’t do that i get the message that there is no deck

2- can i use same MOJO on both PC and MAC ?

    thanks in advance

According to the supported devices list, (https://www.avid.com/content/8927/SUPPORTED%20DEVICES%20FOR%20AVID%20EDITOR%20PRODUCTS.pdf) the deck you are using is not supported when using DVCPro50.

Oh, I forgot – the Mojo is agnostic. But you’ll need to use your dongle that came off the Mojo system.

    1. Rent a deck. I don’t know where you are, but I’m sure there’s a rental house close enough to FEDEX something to you.

    2. Buy more RAM? Nobody ever said this is a cheap buisness to run.
