motion effect for “film look”
Posted by Rap on September 12, 2006 at 7:54 pmhello it’s me again,
i just remembered that one way of getting a “film” look and “feeling” is by using the motion effect , by setting the speed of the clip to a100% and interpolated field . is that correct?Geraint Pari huws replied 19 years, 8 months ago 4 Members · 5 Replies -

September 13, 2006 at 5:57 amI’ve heard the same thing, but never tried it personally. FluidFilm is probably the best way to get the “Film-look,” but the render times are so long and unacceptable, it’s pretty much a worthless effect to me. Try downlodaing the 3Prong SpeedRamp AVX plugin for Avid. It’s got a free trial (watermarked), but if it gives you the results you like, the purchase price is very reasonable (around $100). Plus it renders a HECK of a lot faster than FluidFilm! https://www.3prong.com
Take care.
It’s not the tool you use, it’s the end product that counts.

100% velocity, with duplicated field.
I have some problems with panoramica?

September 13, 2006 at 4:42 pmdup fields is correct,
tip. make sure your render setting are set to origional preference or you may spend hours rendering the effect in such a way that defeats the whole object. Carefull though, some broadcasters are getting fussy about dupefields and will reject them.
