    Hi,

Currently cutting a short on an old Film Composer 7.2 with AVR77 dongle attached…when I add audio dissolves I’m getting pops on playback either at the start of the dissolve or right at the end…anyone any ideas? My speakers are connected direct out the back of the 888 audio hardware…

    Thanks

    Tay.

Are you dissolves rendered? Yellow or blue dots mean they are not. One of the new features at some point was the ability to add a dissolve without rendering. I don’t remember if it started on ver. 7, but if you don’t pay attention, you’ll breeze through adding dissolve and find the little button in the dialog box is set to ‘add’, instead of ‘and and render’…

Yeah – I’ve checked that too…still occurs even after rendering…

Try doing an audio mixdown. I faintly remember this from my 7.x days.
