  Downconvert HD to SD by an HD newbie

  Here is the situation:

  We have a completed HD sequence (720p) that we would like to downconvert to SD and then output through firewire…so it can air both SD and HD. During the transcoding process we get a fatal error message. We believe we’re missing a crucial step…but are not sure which ONE!

  Could somebody give us a simple workflow with all the different steps that need to be done to successfully downconvert to SD?
  Any help is much appreciated!
