    Are there any specific settings I can change to make the audio meters more responsive. They bounce around so chunky-like I cannot get a good reading.

    Assuming you have sufficient comp speed and all that…

    try rendering any effects you have first for seqs with multiple layers. Or just monitor the bottom video track (or no video track at all) if you’re only working on audio. Turning off your video monitor button in the timeline always speeds everything up, and it’s a great way to work on audio-only stuff.

    Other than that, close any unneccessary bins, make sure there’s not a lot of overlapping windows, that kind of thing…

    I turned off the video track and that worked well. Im running on a certified HP xw8200… unfortunately it’s not as responsive as hoped.
