I have an Avid Xpress Pro with Mojo on a G5 Mac and I started having audio problems last week. Basically, I cannot hear output audio when the mojo is active. I originally thought it was a problem with the RCA cables out of the mojo to the main speakers, but I don’t even see the internal VU meter reading anything (just like when you turn off all the speakers in the audio channels).
However, when I disable mojo, I can see the audio levels and I can hear output audio to the computer speakers.

    Please help!

I know it sounds wierd, but have you added any firewire connections to the G5 recently? On my G5, I have to re-arrange my firewire connections to fix these kinds of glitches. Just a thought.

I have added 2 drives, but I unplugged them and the problem persists….could it be because I added Final Cut? Can I have both systems in the same computer?

Yes, the project audio rate is the same ….48……..could it be because you can’t have both FCP and Avid on the same computer?

re: having both Xpress and FCP on the same system – I have used several machines that have not had a problem with this. On the other hand Avid and Premiere cannot co-exist under the same Windows OS due to a system file that both fight over…
