    Hi
I’m working on an NTSC project which was shot on HD at 24p PAL. The footage was telecined to NTSC 30fps video (long story). The project was set up by another assistant and I’m not sure if it was set as a drop-frame or non-drop frame project (I don’t know if you can specify this at project set up stage). Anyway, the problem that I am having is this:
Each time I try and do a digital cut with the following parameters set: RS-422 Output at Non-drop & LTC Output set at Non-drop frame, I get the following error message:

“The Tape & sequence drop frames must match for digital cut. The digital cut will be aborted”

I am playing out to an NTSC Beta SP deck & I have changed the deck preferences to read non-drop.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
    Thank you?

Click on the composer window press “ctl i” –change the colon to semicolon in the program start window.

That will take care of it.
