I’m just trying to find out if there are other ways to create a “logo wallpaper” background for a commercial.
Normally, I just layer a logo several times and make it drift across.

Here is what I’m trying to do today. Have lots of scissors making the cutting motion as they drift across the background. It’s the cheezy cost cutter variety car commercial.

I created the two pieces of the scissors in photoshop, layered them on top of each other in the avid and with a few keyframes made the cutting motion. Now, what is the best method to get alternating lines of this with the motion?

I have Sapphires and had ideas of using s_warp transform and pushing it back in Z distance with wrap X & Y set to TILE

I also have Boris Continum Complete AVX if there is anything in there to help.

    Any suggestions would be nifty.

    Thanks,
    Sean

There’s a lot you could do with Sapphire! How about Warp Perspective to replicate it onto a plane, then animate the 3d plane moving? Or Warp Chroma or Warp Repeat? If you have Sapphire v2, try S_Feedback or Trails to get trails on the motion. All depends on what you’re trying to achieve.
