  Gradual Pan Adjustments in Avid Xpress 4.6?

  I’m wondering if I’m able to do a gradual pan adjustment on my audio tracks. Example: I’d like the audio to all be on the left channel, and then gradually shift towards the right channel.

  I’ve tried using key frames, but keyframes only affect gain.

  I’ve tried splitting my audio master into two clips, making the first clip 100% left, the second clip 100% right, and then adding a transition between the two clips. This didn’t work either, it would stay 100% left until the cut point, and then ‘immediately’ switch to 100% right.
