  Exception: Audio/video is no longer coming into the system… works on one tape but not another

  Hello,

  I’m having trouble importing footage from a particular tape. It’s a Digital 8 tape (cam is Sony DCR TRV340) and I’m capturing through a firewire cable. I checked another tape in the same cam and was able to capture the footage just fine. The tape I’m trying to capture from WILL play back in the monitor in avid and I DO get audio as well. However as soon as I press the record button to capture the video/audio stops in the record monitor and eventually the Exception error pops up. What can I do here?
