  Avid Express Pro 4.8.1 locks up during offline logging

  I just installed Avid Express Pro 4.8.1 on G5 (Tiger), did a little bit of editing everything was fine until I started doing offine logging. The system locked up after every 4-5 clips I logged. I tried restarting the computer, it was still the same.
  Any idea of why this is happening?
