Soon after 4.81 I solved the problem of capture by moving Quicktime to trash and downloading Quicktime. After 2 weeks of success, it’s happening again. I’ve done everything possiible.

What is the easiest way to bring bins a new file? I find that if I create a new file and new user settings, it works. I have a project with about 30 bins.

5 hours later…. I have discovered that if I move my files into a new bin and create new user setting, it still doesw the same msg.AvDisposableHandle.mac warning and doesn’t let me capture. What I now have discovered is that if I don’t have any file loaded on the timeline (hence no image in the monitor), it wil let me capture just fine. The moment I put a sequence on the time line, boom… I get the msg.Av….. warning and it won’t capture.

I HAVE THE LATEST QUICKTIME… I EVEN REMOVEED QUICKTIME AND REINSTALLED IT. I ALSO UNINSTALLED AVID 4.81 AND RE-INSTALLED IT. I’VE DONE NORMAL MAINTENENCE LIKE REMOVE MCSTATE.

    HELP!!!!!
