  • Time of Day/Shoot date information in Avid Xpress Pro HD

Posted by Vikingmk on September 6, 2005 at 5:41 pm

I am using standard DV videotapes and a Panasonic NV-MX300 Videocamera.

I am looking for a way to get the following information about my subclips after they are captured to the harddisk:

Shoot date/The date the footage was filmed.

I can see this information on my DV camera while capturing and the Avid system uses the information to split my tape into clips. But I am not able to find out how to get access to this information after the tape is captures to the harddisk.

    Please help me!

Well the START timecode column is the time of day. There is a SHOOT DATE column avaiable in headings that you can add your date as needed. That part is not automated.
