  3d software: MAYA vs. LIGHTWAVE vs. SOFTIMAGE?

  Which software is the best for getting a professional result in the least amount of time? Learning curve on each? Pros, cons. I want to know what the users are saying!

  My 13 year old son has picked up Lightwave fairly easily… but then, he’s 13!

  Can’t speak for the other platforms.
