    Hi,

The last Avid I used was Media Composer 11.6

Our company is about to purchase Adrenalines. We do lots with large graphics ie photos scanned in at a large resolution so that we can zoom in without pixelating. At least that is what we could do with Liquid Blue as we could access the native resolution of the graphics. As far as I remember, Avid automatically converts graphics to the native timeline resolution — not what we want. Do adrenalines keep the resolution of graphics or do we need something like the Steadymove (or something else better)?

    Thanks a lot,

    David Oulashian

Adrenaline includes the Pan & Zoom effect, which allows you to work with oversize graphics. In my experience, P&Z is kind of buggy, but it’s good when it works.

There are other plugins that do the same thing, but I can’t remember any of them off the top of my head. Try searching the Avid Adrenaline user forums at https://www.avid.com/cgi/forumscgi/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro for more information.

    good luck,
    Carl

    Hi Guys

I am keen on exploring this feature in Avid (pan and zoom) as i am used to using Stagetools as an external application on another system.

I understand that the pan and zoom effect will work with bigger files however how do you import a graphic thats say 2000 x 2000 pixels etc into the Avid?

    Cheers
