hi, every time i open a project in avid xpress, or create a new project, i get a warning message that says
“the port “OHCI” is busy and cannot be used for deck control”

what does this mean, and how can i fix this problem?
    thanks!

The FiWire connection is blocked or being used by another device…. is there something else on the same bus? Check the device manager if on XP.

You have two configs trying to use the port-
    Delete one of the decks.

well, i removed my firewire card, and i still get the same error….

I suggest you check your port allocation in the deck settings…

I also was experiencing this problem.

I resolved it by going to ‘deck configuration’ under ther settings tab and removing the duplicated firewire setting.

    All now works fine 🙂
