  LaCie hard drive and Avid on PC

  Hi there,

  I’m trying to take some Avid project files from my Mac and dump them onto Avid on my PC (Using Avid Xpress Pro 4.6) but my PC will not fully recognize my hard drive–when I plug it in (using the USB cable–my new PC doesn’t have firewire), the comp tells me that yes indeed, a new device is recognized, yet when I go to “my computer” there is not a trace of the hard drive. Additionally, when I open Avid and try to save a new project to the hard drive, there is also no sign of it. Any help would be much appreciated.
