Avid Xpress Character Generation problems
Hey all
Character generator with in Avid Xpress Pro DV is giving me Grief. When I create a lower third ,it looks fine with in the CG window.
After I save and close the window and view the lower third on the Time Line , the text is all out of alignment and it has a black line going through the top of the text….
Have any of you seen problem??? Do you know of any solutions on how to fix it??? -

Your user settings is probably corrupt.
Rebuild them or use another setting.
Next time, back up your user settings. When you get Title Tool corruption, quit out of Avid. Drop your archive user setting in the User Folder. Restart Avid. You are up and running in 1 minute.

user setting were backed up…..created a new user profile same problem??????

You must recreate titles that has already been corrupted.

Try trashing your MCState files. That’s done the trick for me in the past.
